My daughter loves this book! She’s so mesmerized by the illustrations. I love that the book also teaches her to identify family members such as Mom and Dad.
I bought this book because I have daughters and I wondered what did daddy do not to get a kiss. The story reminds me of oldest daughter, who reads voraciously now, but in the first and second grade she wasn’t reading. In fact, we had to hire a tutor to get her to start reading. By the time she reached high school she was reading above grade level. A few years ago I found out that my daughter didn’t want to read because she was afraid that I would stop reading to her before she went to bed- No Kiss for Daddy.
My grandson loved it!!
